Urgent or
Emergency care

Same-day appointments

Same day appointments are reserved every day to ensure our patients have access to timely care for urgent medical issues. Urgent same day appointments can be booked available online. If you are unable to book an urgent same day appointment online, please call our office to let us know and we will see what we can do to help.

Urgent medical concerns include new illness, infections, significant injuries, loss of hearing, and issues with pregnancy. Non urgent issues include prescription refills, follow-up for pre-existing medical conditions, completion of forms, and follow-up for test results. Abuse of urgent appointments just to be seen sooner for non urgent issues will result in appointment cancellation. Pharmacists can authorize an emergency refill of your medications if you forgot to book an appointment to refill your medications on time.

After-hours care

If you need to talk to your doctor urgently regarding a new urgent issue or complications (for example, serious side-effects from a new medication), please call our after-hours phone line.

Our after hours-line is open daily until 8pm on weekends, holidays, and weekday evenings. You can reach the doctor on the after-hours line by calling the clinic directly. Non urgent issues will deferred until the next business day. If you need to see a doctor urgently inperson about a new medical issue when the clinic is closed, please go to an Urgent Care Centre (see below)-
